Do you know Asari?

There are various kinds of Miso soup in Japan.
This is an Asari Miso soup.
Asari is a clam.
I used to go to a seashore and dig many clams there as a boy.

Anyway, we sometimes cook Asari Miso soup at home, but I haven’t seen it is sale as merchandise.

Open it up!

Wow, the package on the left side contains clams and Miso is in the right silver package.

I mixed them up with hot water in the paper cup.

And I drank it.. oh it was good taste.

A happy sushi pack

I'm really happy to be born in Japan, 'cause I can grab such fresh fish at home.
I bought this sushi pack at the supermarket that I introduced at the previous post.

It costs around 700 yen. (About 7 dollars)
It is a little bit expensive for lunch, but it is reasonable price for sushi.

From left to right in the front row:
burned egg, salmon, crab, shrimp

From left to right in the back row:
medium fatty tuna, lean tuna, squid, (It is hidden)

SUSHI, SUSHI, SUSHI !

Many packs of sushi were sold at the supermarket of Kamogawa.
It is a rare scene even in Japan.

Usual supermarket doesn't sell such amount of sushi.

Kamogawa is famous for the fishing industry.
So this shop is special.

Anyway, It looks really good!

My mouth is watering.
Our family member bought sushi that they like there.

This shop's name is Edo-ya.
Edo is the times of about 260 years ago when Tokugawa family governed Japan.
And Ya means shop in Japanese.
Edo sounds familiar with Japanese.

I found out there is a kitchen microwave on the shelf.
I was wondering who uses this equipment.
Are there the needs of eating something soon after purchase?

Lots of shrimps are crammed in the croquette.

I'm wondering a shrimp burger is popular in other countries or not?
