Enjoyed sake called Uzen Sakuragawa

Our team finished a project yesterday.
So we had a small party at our office though it is prohibited to drink alcohol at the office.

One of members, whose father is a famous sake maker, brought two bottles of his sake.
That sake is named 'Uzen Sakuragawa'.
It's high quality, and so expensive that you may hesitate to buy.

Of course it was so good.
We enjoyed them much and drank them up within only 30 minutes.
It is a little bit dry, fruity and easy to drink.

One member said such special sake should not be poured into cheap paper cups.

  1. i love sake! it's funny because before i went to japan i hated it but ever since i have been there i love it. i guess it is because the sake that i buy in my home country is full of preservatives, so the sake doesn't spoil when it is imported from japan. the sake in japan is so much more smooth tasting. my favourite is Daiginjyo Manotsuru from the Obata Sake Brewery in Sado ga Shima.
