A temple of Yanaka
This is a temple of
Nichiren
sect of Buddhism.
Its name is Keiou-ji (Kyoo-ji).
The new government army attacked this temple on 1868 because the temple sheltered some members of revolutionary army
Shogitai
.
The battle has made its woody gate be scarred by the bullet holes.
